Missouri

Missouri Secretary of State – This site provides original and summary birth, death, marriage, probate, judicial and military records in Missouri.  It is easily navigable and provides a great amount of information.

Catholic Cemeteries of St. Louis – Provides a search function for persons buried in St. Louis’s Catholic cemeteries, includes the large and historic Calvary Cemetery

Civil War

Civil War Soldiers and Sailor System – Provides a free searchable database for Union and Confederate soldiers.

The War of the Rebellion: a Compilation of the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies – Compiled correspondence of the Union and Confederate armies during the Civil War.
